Google is almost 20 years old now. We all use Google to get an answer for all our inquisitive queries and satisfy the thrust of a curious mind. But besides being the world best search engine, Google also entertain us by introducing humorous or artistic graphics, animation and interactive games in the form of Google doodle. Google create these doodles to commemorate holidays, birth anniversaries or any major events.
Since 1998 Google doodle has progressed from a small tweak to a logo to full-blown illustration, animation and now doodles are interactive games. These immensely innovative doodles not only provide knowledge but also give us a continuing reason to visit Google homepage. 1. First Day of Spring (2014):
This doodle was created to uplift every ones mood on the first day of spring season 2014. Featuring a cute little character watering flowers, then gradually letter of Google appears with the blooming of beautiful flowers.
2. St. Patrick Day (2014):
On 16 March, Google decided to celebrate St. Patrick day by creating doodle on cultural and religious aspects of Ireland national day. The beautiful stained glass window shown in these doodle symbolizes those traditional pubs where the celebrations would be taking place.
3. International Women’s Day (2014):
Another beautiful doodle created by Google to salute the true spirit of women in 2014, on International Women’s Day. Exhibiting an illustrated logo, which when clicked, it introduces dozens of women around the world celebrating International Women’s Day. A rare glance into the world of some of the most inspiring women around.
4. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (2014):
This is a gorgeous illustration on Martin Luther King Jr. This doodle perfectly captures his struggle and fight for civil right movement. Showcasing doves – the birds of peace and love, fly away through an open window in a subtle and beautiful way to celebrate one of the biggest figures in history, who fought all his life for human right and freedom.
5. Valentine Day (2014):
Who doesn’t love to receive chocolate on the day of love? This interactive Doodle on Valentine day 2014 allowed viewers to create their desired chocolate and snack to gift their nearest and dearest one. It was seriously very creative and funny doodle created by Google.
6. New Year Day (2014):
The first Google of the year 2014 was this hilarious numeral based doodle. This colorful Google doodle features the caricature of numbers 2, 0, 1 and 3 above a flashing dancefloor, while the number 4, stands to their right in the dark anticipating its time to shine. At midnight, number 4 occupies the place of 3 to mark the beginning of the year 2014.
7. Google Logo Flying Bal (2010):
This one actually a breathtaking and inspiring Google doodle created with colored balls. This Google most interactive doodle it cause an explosion of colored balls that reacted whenever your mouse cursore went near it. No explaination given for why it is created, but it has been suggested that it could have something to do with real-time search results arriving in the near future.
8. Claude Debussy (2013):
This the Google most beautiful creation till date. This doodle was created in 2013 to celebrate the 151 th anniversary of the French composer Claude Debussy. Google sought, to create an animated doodle set up with flickering lights, a quiet city and pouring rain set against the magical melody of Clair de Lune.
9. Doodle on Charlie Chaplin (2011):
To pay tribute to the star of silent era Charlie Chaplin, Google created a short video in his 122nd birthday. Similarly like his silent film work, this doodle show Chaplin interacting with the Google logo, reads a Google newspaper and even attempts to draw his own Google Doodle
10. A Halloween Day Special (2012):
Google created an interactive doodle on Halloween day 2012. This doodle on Halloween celebration depicts a spooky street and a haunted house and it is up to the viewers whether they want to know what is going behind the door of that house by clicking over all the doors.
