Pakdam Pakdai, this comedy cartoon series, is telecasted on Nickelodeon. The series deals with the war between Doggy Don and three mice who lives in his house. Doggy Don makes futile attempts with his older brother Colonel, to defeat the rats that are always up to making some mischief be it stealing dog food or setting fire to his house.

6. Chacha Chowdhury and Sabu:
Chacha Chowdhury is one of the very famous Indian comic character, created by cartoonist Pran. The Chacha Chowdhury is a middle-aged man known for his intelligence and strength. He stays along with his wife Bani and assisted by a giant from Jupiter Sabu. Chacha Chowdhury stories are all time favorite story books for children, which was later adapted in a television serial as well.
7. Sally Bollywood:
It is one of the best cartoons for toddlers. It is a French-Australian animated series which has been translated. Sally is a school girl who wants to become a detective and hence started her agency. Along with her friend Dowee she tries to solve cases using latest technologies. Sally also likes to sing and dance in Bollywood style.
Earlier Indian animated tale series lacks the sense of story telling. But now the Indian animation industry has come out from their shortcomings and with some quirky characters, simple plot lines, and silly gags Indian cartoons has not only captured the animation market but also equally captured the hearts of Indian kids and teens.
